A Pair of Georgian Petal Molded Dwarf Ale Glasses

An unusual pair of Georgian dwarf ale glasses. These handsome items date from the early 19th Century and have straight sided bowls, with baluster stems. The bases have a broken pontil mark and the bowls have petal molding to the lower half, a design popular at the turn of the 18th Century. Good collector's glasses with a practical use. Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks. The bases are slightly mis-shapen which is part of the original manufacturing and not damage.
