Technical Description
 
Georgian glass toddy lifter. It has an applied rim with fine slice cutting to the reservoir which continues down to the inlet hole on the base. A very nice slimline example.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time The South Orkney Islands were discovered, by George Powell and Nathaniel Palmer on the 6th of December 1821.
