This fine pair of wine bottle coasters are made of Old Sheffield Plate with turned wooden bases. The coasters themselves are decorated with embossed grape vine detailing to edges and date to c1830. Both pieces are marked with a crown and a circular workman''s mark to the underside.
Generally in good condition with some copper bleed to raised edges as is usual for pieces of this age and some wear to central buttons.

Internal diameter approx 13cm.
Height approx 5cm.
