A Rare French 19th Century Sulphide Rummer

A rare example of top quality French craftsmanship. This superb piece is a cut glass rummer. The sides are hexagonal and panel cut and this design continues down to the foot. At the front is a superb and details sulphide panel of St. Louis. Any form of glassware containing a sulphide panel is desirable to collectors and a quality pice such as this was certainly made by one of the great French makers such as Baccarat or St. Louis. The capacity is good and the glass would serve well for beer, wine or spirits. A great gift idea for that special person and a fabulous collectors item. Dimensions below.
