Technical Description
 
A fine set of six 19th century champagne glasses. They have cup bowls with bands of blaze cuts above fields of large diamond cuts. Slice cut stems on star cut feet.
 
Outstanding quality.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time Carnegie Hall opened in New York. The great Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was a guest conductor for the opening night on the 5th of May 1891.
