Description

Dating to the mid Victorian era, about 1860, this beautiful burr maple and rosewood Wellington chest has a secretaire section behind three false drawers, a new black leather skiver on the fall, ivory handled velvet lined internal drawers, brass ink pot, a separate top drawer, three drawers below, and it has just been fully refreshed and restored. The fall has a separate Bramah lock, as well as the slip lock, plus the locking bar with key to the side. The fall is the right size for a laptop, plenty of storage, secret drawer that will take an ipad and all perfect for the new "work from home" lifestyle.
