Technical Description
A pair of Thistle Dram glasses with slice and diamond cuts to the bowls, facet cuts to the central ball knops and star cut feet. It''s quite rare to find the tall examples with the long stems which were made by either Richardson in Stourbridge or by the Edinburgh & Leith factory.

Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time the first rugby international was played in Edinburgh, resulting in a 1–0 win by Scotland over England on the 27th of March 1871.
