It has a long flared bell bowl above a multi spiral air twist stem with two swelling knops. Conical foot with a snapped pontil. An outstanding example. If you look very carefully at the bowl picture at around 7 o''clock you will see a tiny pinprick which is a tooth mark and quiet common on 18th-century glasses. It''s totally insignificant and part of the wear expected on glass 250 years old. It has its original Phillips Auction House sticker on the underside of the foot.A rare form and well over 5 years since we last had an example like this.Historical Relevance Hand-blown around the time of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, led by Charles Edward Stuart.
