A Superb Victorian Silver Mounted Amber Glass Scent Bottle

A superb and unusual Victorian silver mounted scent bottle in desirable amber glass. This is a lovely example and has cut-through geometric panels in the Victorian Gothic style, with gilded detail. The hinged and domed silver lid opens to reveal the original peg stopper and has floral repoussé decoration. A gorgeous and desirable collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or holes to the lid and no chips or cracks to the glass. There is some light wear to the gilding, commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked, but tests as silver (not unusual for small Victorian scent bottle lids)
