Technical Description
An 18th century Mercury Twist wine glass. Classic drawn trumpet form with a pair of mercury spirals. Conical foot snapped pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-made around the time the wearing of the kilt was banned in Scotland by the Dress Act in 1746.
