Technical Description
A slightly tapered bowl with deep flute cutting and a deceptive base with a large polished pontil. the pontil showing a man hanging from a gibbet.
These were known as ''Last Drop'' glasses and were reputedly used in wagers for drinking competitions to see if you could drink the last drop of Whisky. This is a fine example and we currently have 5 glasses available.

Hand-blown around the time Nathaniel Hawthorne''s The Scarlet Letter was published on the 16th of March 1850.
