Technical Description
An exceptional and very rare 18th century sweetmeat or master salt glass in blue. It has an 8 way crimped bowl with an under folded rim. Sits on an inverted baluster stem above a conical foot with snapped pontil.
Hand-blown around the time the British captured Pondichéry, India from the French on the 16th of January 1761.
