Technical Description
An 18th century dram glass with a drawn trumpet bowl and multi spiral air twist stem. COnical foot with a snapped pontil. Drawn trumpet wine glasses in this form are relatively common, whereas a dram glass is rather rare and you don''t find them very often. This is a fine example.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time France declared war on Britain during The War of the Austrian Succession in 1744.
