Superb condition, no chips cracks or restoration

Dimensions

Height: 19cm Diameter: 21cm including the handle.

Technical Description

An early 19th-century glass water jug with a cut neckband and further band of oval and diamond cuts around the middle of the bowl. Applied handle and large polished pontil.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time the Irish Royal Navy captain, Edward Bransfield landed on the mainland of Antarctica.
