Technical Description :
A beautiful pair of 19th-century composite stem wine glasses. They have round funnel bowls delicately engraved with flower swags hanging from a band of oval cuts. Composite stems consisting of an annulated knop, angular knop and opaque twist section with a white multispiral outside a red and white spiral band. Conicalfoot with a snapped pontil.
Magnificant quality and workmanship.
Historical Relevance:
Hand-blown around the time of the Franco-Prussian War, also known as the war of 1870 in France.
