A Splendid Coromandel Decanter Box

Description

A particularly fine quality early/mid Victorian DECANTER BOX in absolutely pristine original condition.

The beautifully-made case is of well-figured coromandel wood, inset to the top with an engraved brass monogram of the original owners initials, and with an ingenious spring-loaded mechanism for operating the lid.

It opens to reveal the pair of original high quality decanters and stoppers, together with a single glass, also original. The decanters and glass are set within the velvet and leather lined interior. A truly lovely box! 8.5ins wide; 5ins deep; 9ins high.
