Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 16.6cm Rim diameter: 6.9cm Foot diameter: 7.1cm.

Technical Description

Engraved 18th century light baluster wine glass. The trumpet bowl is engraved with a rococo band. This is supported by a knopped stem comprised of shoulder, inverted baluster and basal knops. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time Government forces were defeated by Jacobite forces at the Battle of Falkirk in 1746.
