19th Century Superb Cut Glass and Silver Double Ended Scent Bottle.

Description

19th century solid silver and cut glass barrel shaped sent bottle.

The beautiful sharply cut glass body with diamond cuts has one twist off repousse foliate designed silver topped end, and a sprung push button hinged top same designed closure on the other end, having the inner glass inside the lid.

The silver is marked only with the maker's mark of Edwin Culver. He would have made this around 1878.

Size-5.5 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide.

Weight-160 grams.

This is a really lovely object in very good condition.

A beautiful piece.

Declaration
