Dome Top Pine Metal Clad Strapped Trunk (Treasure Chest)

Description

Interesting Victorian trunk based on pine with metal covering and wooden straps, externally has been painted black with gilt/gold paint to rosettes, internally painted, with antique Christmas scene & border papered to inside of the domed lid.

This is an antique item with historic dents & minor repairs, including replaced leather lift on one end.

Very decorative and attractive.
