The arms on this glass are very close to those of the Feltmakers Company. The hats, hands and hanks of wool all correspond. The words here are taken fro Peter, chapter 3, verse8 and are sometimes used by friendly societies. The Worshipful Company of Feltmakers today is the Livery Company of then Hatters.
