Technical Description
 
Pair of 18th century opaque twist wine glasses. The ogee bowl is engraved with a fruiting vine and a butterfly. This rests upon an opaque twist stem comprised of a multi-ply corkscrew alternating with a spiral tape. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.

Hand-blown around the time George III became King of Great Britain on the 23rd of October 1760.
