Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 19.3cm Rim diameter: 9.6cm Foot diameter: 9.4cm.

Technical Description

An 18th century Baluster goblet. A large round funnel bowl rests upon an inverted baluster knop containing a large central air tear. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil. A superb well-balanced glass which fits perfectly in the hand and can be used very much with modern wines.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time The Royal Bank of Scotland extends the first overdraft on the 31st of May 1728.
