Technical Description
18th century mixed twist champagne glass. The trumpet bowl is engraved with a fruiting vine and a Jay in flight. This rests upon a mixed twist stem comprised of a pair air corkscrews outside an opaque gauze. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time George III became King of Great Britain on the 23rd of October 1760.
