Technical Description
 
A 19th century nailsea glass serving bottle. A cylindrical body with pulled up internal trailing. The cork stopper is finished with a white metal ring pull stopper. The base of the piece features a rough pontil.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time Construction began on the Royal Museum in Edinburgh in 1861.
