Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 15cm Rim diameter: 5.4cm Foot diameter: 6.9cm.

Technical Description

An 18th century air twist wine glass. A round funnel bowl rests upon a double series air twist stem. The stem is comprised of a pair of seven-ply spiral bands outwith a pair of corkscrews. A conical foot with a rough pontil supports the piece.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time the first issue of Berlingske, Denmark's oldest continually operating newspaper was published.
