Technical Description
 
An 18th century opaque twist wine glass. A bell bowl rests upon an opaque twist stem comprised of a pair of spiral tapes outwith a central column, all of this flows through three knops. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-made around the time the British Museum opened at Montagu House, Bloomsbury in London.
