Technical Description
 
A 19th century champagne glass. The elongated round funnel bowl is engraved with a band of fruiting vines above slice cuts, edged with notch cuts. A diamond facet cut stem joins the bowl to a conical foot with a star cut base. Outstanding quality. Sold as single, six available

Hand-blown around the time Carnegie Hall opened in New York. The great Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was a guest conductor for the opening night on the 5th of May 1891.
