Technical Description
 
A 19th century pillar moulded Scottish gill measure. A flared neck with an applied ring and notches in the rim. The body is pillar moulded and has a polished pontil.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the George IV Bridge in Edinburgh was completed to Thomas Hamilton’s design.
