Technical Description
 
A 19th century Richardson glass wine carafe. The slice cut neck leads down to a bulbous body engraved and cut with a band of leaves. A polished pontil completes the piece.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time the first payphone in the United States was installed in New Haven, Connecticut.
