19th-century Nailsea glass carafe. Shaft and globe form, pulled trailing and an applied annulated neck ring. The piece is supported by a clear conical foot with a rough pontil.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time Stephen Perry patented the rubber band, on the 17th of March 1845.
