Technical Description

A Georgian style amethyst wine glass. The ogee bowl features rib moulding. A plain stem joins the bowl to a conical foot with a snapped pontil.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time George Dewey became the first in the US to hold the rank of Admiral of the Navy.
