Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 11.3m Rim diameter: 5.2cm Foot diameter: 6.4cm.

Technical Description

18th century opaque twist dram glass. An ovoid bowl rests upon an opaque twist stem, the stem is made up of two pairs of multi-ply spiral corkscrews outwith a multi-ply corkscrew. The conical foot has a rough pontil. Could easily be described as a short stem wine. A very fine example.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time of The Seven Years' War, a global conflict fought between 1756 and 1763.
