Technical Description
A double series opaque twist stem featuring a pair of spiral cables outside a pair of three-ply spiral bands. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time Scottish chemist, Joseph Black, described his discovery of carbon dioxide and magnesium in a paper to the Medical Society of Edinburgh.
