Condition

Excellent, age-related wear as shown.

Height: 16.7cm Rim diameter: 6.8cm Foot diameter: 7.1cm.

Technical Description

An 18th century air twist wine glass with a rare pointed round funnel bowl which has a combination of hammer and rib moulding. The multi spiral air twist stem with a shoulder knop rests upon a conical foot featuring a rough pontil.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time Westminster Bridge was officially opened for the general public to use on the 18th of November 1750.
