Technical Description

A set of six 19th century double series air twist wine glasses. The round funnel bowl is engraved with a band of fruiting vine and flowers above diamond moulding. The air twist stem features two ball knops and is comprised of a multi-spiral air twist outwith an air column. The piece is supported by a conical foot with a polished pontil.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time of the American Civil War (1861 to 1865).
