Excellent. age-related wear as shown.

Height: 17.4cm Bowl diameter: 7.1cm Foot diameter: 7.9cm.

Technical Description

18th century air twist wine glass. A large pan top bowl above a double series stem with a pair of spiral threads outside a cable. The foot is conical with a rough pontil. Double Series Pan Top Air Twists are exceptionally rare and this is only the second example we have had. Original Ron and Mary Thomas collection sticker on base.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time the first issue of Berlingske, Denmark's oldest continually operating newspaper was published.
