Technical Description

An early 18th century Baluster stem goblet. A large round funnel bowl rests upon a baluster stem featuring a teared inverted baluster knop above a basal knop. The piece is supported by a folded conical foot with a rough pontil.

Historical Relevance

Hand-blown around the time Kingdom of Great Britain was created by the acts of union in 1706 and 1707.
