Large Cut Crystal Vanity Jar / Pot - Sterling Silver and Tortoise Shell Lid

Description

A wonderful large jar with a good thick piece of crystal with a most attractive cut decoration all around and a star cut on the underside; the glass is in perfect condition.

The lid is made from solid or sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1924. The top is set with a large glossy piece of luxurious antique tortoiseshell with striking marks and a tapestry of colours from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown.

The shell is enhanced with a stunning silver pique inlay, pretty as a picture, intricate and fine quality.

Excellent condition measuring 3" tall with a lid diameter measuring 3".
