Description

A lovely example of an antique solid sterling silver ink well.

It is hallmarked on the side, with a further partial hallmark and registration number inside the lid, for Birmingham 1932. The inkwell is modelled as a large bell of plain form terminating in an angular handle to a hinged cover. The plain glass liner is in good condition and there is a leather lined base.

Dimensions:

Diameter of Base: 10cm

Height (including handle): 10.5cm

Silver Weight (including leather base): 348g

Total Weight: 373g.
