A Fabulous Cut Glass Early Victorian Tea Caddy

A fabulous and rare collector's item. This is a fine cut glass tea caddy from the early Victorian period. The body is rectangular, with bevelled corners and had detailed hobnail cutting and strawberry diamonds. The base is half flute cut and the caddy has a mushroom stopper, with matching cutting over a slice cut neck, with a flared, cut collar.

These items are rather rare and much sought after by collectors and this is a splendid example of quality Victorian cut glass. Dimensions below.
