Pretty as a picture, the base of this inkwell is made from a delightful molded glass which when enhanced with this solid or silver top looks like a flower as a complete piece.

The hinged silver lid and floral shaped skirt both have a decorative edging; both the collar and lid are hallmarked for London 1846 together with the Queen Victoria's head mark and the makers mark for Charles Thomas Fox and George Fox.

A stunning a delightful addition to any desk-top. Excellent condition, measuring 3" in diameter at base x 2 1/2" tall.
