Antique Edwardian Silver-rimmed Jug and Bowl

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very pretty solid sterling silver-rimmed jug and bowl.

Clearly hallmarked on the rim with the maker's mark of Hart & Sons and the assay stamp for London 1906. the glass is etched with flowers on both pieces and is in perfect condition. The handle of the jug is securely attached and is attractively flattened on top, for a secure thumb hold. The silver rims have some slight dings but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance.

The set would have many uses - cream and sugar for strawberries; milk and sugar for tea or maybe whisky and ice!

Dimensions:

Jug - Height: 7.5cm

Width: 7cm at widest point.

Bowl - Height: 6cm

Diameter at top: 9.5cm.

Post and packaging are free within the UK via Royal Mail special delivery. Overseas buyers please e-mail for postage costs. Thank you.

Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
