An attractive Edwardian mahogany bookcase in the Sheraton revival style. The whole inlaid with satinwood cross banding between boxwood and ebony lines. The top section with a good swan neck pediment, moulded cornice and inlaid frieze. The 2 glazed doors with 13 pane astragal glazing bars and original glass. The interior with 3 adjustable mahogany shelves each faced with 2 lines of boxwood stringing. The base section has 2 inlaid drawers with original brass oval plate handles and below are 2 inlaid panelled doors with a deeper shelf interior. The whole standing on off set ogee moulded feet.
