A Fine Victorian Cut Glass Caddy Bowl.

A fine glass Victorian caddy bowl for the mid Victorian period. This lovely example would have come originally from a wooden tea caddy and the bowl was used for blending and mixing the tea leaves - not as a sugar bowl as is often mistakenly stated. It has a raised foot with polished pontil mark and the straight sides are cut with stars and spheres. The rim is also cut. A good collector's piece usable as a bowl for any purpose.
