Description

A superb Victorian double ended perfume bottle. The body is cranberry overlay glass, with porthole cutting. One end is mounted with a hinged silver lid and a glass stopper, the other has a screw top and cork seal (for smelling salts). A wonderful and rare collector's piece.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver and no cracks or chips to the glass.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked (not unusual for Victorian silver mounts).

Origin :- English.

Date :- c1880.
