A large antique triple door mahogany and marquetry inlaid bookcase cupboard by Edwards and Roberts. This antique 19th century Edwardian Victorian regency style library bookcase display cabinet has adjustable bookshelves to the upper section with three 3 astragal glazed doors opening to reveal display space. The lower section has three opening cupboard doors all with foliate marquetry inlay to the doors. Two of the doors are stamped to the top EDWARDS & ROBERTS. The bookcase comes in five parts to allow easy transportation. The whole is raised on bracket feet. The images do not do this piece justice. It is much more impressive in the flesh with the typical quality of fine inlays and good quality timber that you expect from premier London furniture makers and retailers. Circa 1895.
