Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.

With conical shape, star cut base and curved handle, the glass body is classic and lovely, a very elegant design.
The hinged lid solid silver top has a beautifully angled thumb catch.
A great gift for the whisky drinker perhaps accompanied by their favourite bottle, sure to be appreciated in the evening in the study or drawing room. Also, a lovely piece for the collector. Undamaged and complete examples don't come along often.

Size-3.75 inches high without thumbcatch or 4.25 inches high with catch, 2.75 inches wide. 2 5/8 base diameter.
Undamaged and in very good condition.
