The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
This is a 'glug glug' decanter - so called because of the sound made by the wine as it is poured. It has a squared base, five pour channels and a solid sterling silver twin pouring spout. The decanter is shown with the contents of a standard bottle of wine.

Other than the usual surface marks on the base, it is in excellent condition.
Height: 33.5cm.
