Victorian 'Bristol Green' Glass Hyacinth Vase C1880

Description

This gorgeous VICTORIAN GLASS HYACINTH VASE dates from circa 1880.

The idea is to nearly fill the Vase with water then sit a hyacinth bulb in the top just clear of the water level. Place in a dark cupboard until the roots show and growth starts to break. Then place on a windowsill and watch the roots slowly fill the base of the vase and the hyacinth grow and flower - all without soil.

It is in good condition and in a fabulous strong 'Bristol Green' colour.

Height: 7.25 inches (18.5 cm)
