Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Design features a band of circular cut glass panels, a central band of square cut star shaped panels and another of circular panels with star cut to base. The top features embossed scroll, acanthus leaf and floral decoration, inside of lid electro gilded. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1908, Maker William Hutton and Sons Ltd. (Jar approximately 7.5cm overall height)

Lovely condition no holes, hallmarks all clear. Inside rim of glass, free from chips and nicks, small nicks on central square panels of the design, a couple of small nicks and scratching to the base.
